A Belief in God: What does the Bible say?

In a world where over 6 billion people (and counting) reside, it is not entirely difficult to imagine that there are plenty of opinions
and beliefs out there.  Nor is it entirely difficult to imagine that many of these beliefs and opinions have to deal with religion and religious belief.  In this very same world of over 6 billion people there are many beliefs out there and most people believe that we must be here for a purpose.  Most, if not all, of us are searching.  It is natural to be searching.  We all want to know the truth.  We all want an end to suffering.  We all want to find lasting happiness and joy.  We all want these things.  Different people have different ways of searching and wanting to know the truth.  Most of us have our religious beliefs to guide us to those goals.  Some people believe in one god, others believe in many gods, but there are some who may believe in a higher power, but are not sure if such a god exist.  There are others who in their search for truth, don't believe such a higher power exists at all.  There is no concrete proof that such a god exist they say.  The people I am writing about in this site are the latter peoples: those who are not so sure that a god exist or those who don't believe that a god exists at all.

The first group of the two people are called agnostics.  Agnostics vary in their beliefs, but for the most part, they have questions in the existence in a higher power.  The latter group of these two people I am writing about are atheists.  Atheists deny the existence in a higher power or have no theist or religious belief.  They feel that no concrete or scientific proof in such a higher power exists. However, God's word have much to say about both of these beliefs.

Before I go into what God's Word says about both beliefs, I will dispel myths about both beliefs and will go into them in detail.  Agnostics are skeptics in the belief or existence in gods.  There are various types of agnostics.  There are some who, I have pointed out earlier, believe in a higher power, yet are unsure of its existence.  There are others who believe that the question of the existence of a higher power cannot be answered.  There are some who believe in the existence of a higher power, but conclude that such an existence is not likely.  Atheists on the other hand, consciously or unconsciously reject the existence or notion of a higher power.  Atheists like agnostics have varying beliefs.  There are those who are absent in the beliefs of a higher power but don't outright reject a higher power.  There are others who have the view that the existence or nonexistence of a higher power has no relative importance to human beings.  There are also those who will argue that, despite the fact that agnostics are skeptical and atheists do not have a belief in god or religion, agnosticism and atheism are beliefs like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

While atheists and agnostics are strong in their beliefs, so are Christians, Jews, and Muslims.  However, God's word says that there is a God, He is Real, and He does exist.  He is the Creator of the Universe, and all that is in it, including man and woman. "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male
and female he created them."--Genesis 1:27.  God created the heavens and the earth, then light, day, and night, then he separated the waters and created the sky and created the evening on the second day.  On the third day he created land, seas, vegetation and trees.  On the fourth day he created the seasons and the stars.  On the fifth day he created the birds and the creatures of the sea.  On the sixth day he created living creatures on the land and man and woman to have dominion over the creatures on land, air, and in the waters.  On the seventh day he rested.--Genesis 1-2:3.  Through Jesus Christ all things were created.  Jesus suffered for us so that we might have everlasting life.  But you cannot have that if you are skeptical or don't believe. For "the fool says in his heart, "There is no God."  They are corrupt, their deeds are vile, there is no one who does good.--Psalm 14:1  Those who don't believe are fools and their end is not good.  A word of advice to agnostics and atheists, "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you."--Proverbs 4:6  If you ask God for wisdom then he will give it to you liberally.  If not, then "The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame."--Proverbs 3:35  Revelation 21:8 writes of those who will have their place in the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  There will be no way out.  By then it will be too late for those who do not believe.
