| Who We Are: The MOMS Club of Great Meadows Area, NJ is a chapter of the International MOMS Club. We are a non-profit, non-denominational support group for the at-home parent (or part-time parent) and their children. We are a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today! We are the first, largest and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL types of at-home mothers. What Our Chapter Offers: The MOMS Club of Great Meadows Area offers a variety of monthly activities for MOMS with Children: -Cooking club -Kids Cooking club -Field trips: zoos local parks farms pool outings roller-skating and so much More! We also have one MOMS Night out a month. This is a great way to socialize and connect with other Chapter MOMS one on one! Our monthly business meeting is held the first Tuesday of each month. During which the children have kids club and work on crafts or other fun activities. Dues: Yearly dues are $25.00 a year beginning in July '09 and are used to cover the rent for our meeting room, annual dues to International, and administrative supplies. We e-mail our members a monthly newsletter along with our calendar of fun-filled activities. Areas We Serve: The area our chapter serves includes Great Meadows, Liberty & Independence. History of MOMS Club: The MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support) was founded in 1983 by an at-home mother in California who was looking to connect with other at-home mothers and their children. From that single group, our organization has grown to over 2,000 chapters and over 100,000 members in the United States. Chapters are forming internationally as well. | ANNOUNCEMENTS: The MOMS Club of Great Meadows Area raised $238.97 during our Yard Sale in April '07. Proceeds went to the Warren County Library Northeast Branch for a Summer Children's Program. The MOMS Club of Great Meadows Area raised $300 for Childhood Cancer with an Alex's Lemonade Stand during the Independence Twsp Community Day '06! |
