My wife and I have had American Pit Bull Terriers for the past 15 plus years. We live on a small farm 25 miles east of West Plains Mo. Our all time favorite and best all around companion was a pit bull female by the name of Shadow.  She was an excellent family dog. She wrestled with our two boys and tried to keep them out of trouble {major job}.  She was the greatest farm dog my wife and I have ever had in the 37 years we have been married .  Unfortunately Shadow past away in the fall of 2002 of old age.    I started looking for another good well bred pup when I came across Ricky & Missy Villines website. That was my lucky day.  Ricky & Missy introduced me to the world of Weight pulling.  What a great sport, and boy did I get hooked.  I bought a pup from them in March 2003, she was 4 weeks old.   We named her GKM's Super Katie Might.  What an outstanding dog to start with.  When Katie was 12 weeks old I took her back to Ricky & Missy.  Missy was going to train Katie and Ricky was going to start training me.  Missy had Katie for 6 weeks and started very well when she came home.  The rest is history...Katie is now a 3 time first place A.D.B.A. National Champion.  And well...Ricky is still trying to train me.  I am very fortunate to have good friends such as Ricky and Missy.
