My major purpose in creating Verba was for its markup capability. If you give it a paragraph (or
more) of text, it will generate a marked up version of the same text in HTML. It is still in the source
language, because this is for the learner of the language, but individual words are tagged with float-overs,
so that the reader may hold the mouse over a word to see its definition. I've only tested the float-overs with
IE 5.5 and Netscape 6 so far.
What it is NOT
Verba is not a program to translate clauses (or sentences or paragraphs). It is focused
at the word level (with the exception noted earlier).
