| This is "Wise Old Owl." It is an image of two Gerber daisies, taken in color but transformed to black & white. I added a slight "water color" effect after altering the color. It earned an "honorable mention" at the 2005 NY State Fair. |

| This is "Crystalline Beauty II." It is an image of a poppy after a rainstorm. "Crystalline Beauty," the original, was a slightly different image of this same poppy, without the bee in the picture, and sold at the High Falls Gallery's "A Photographer's Path VIII" exhibit in the Spring of 2005. I liked that image so much that I continued to play with the shots I had taken of that poppy, cropping them differently, altering the color differently, adding more or less of a "watercolor" feel to the image, until I came up with this one. It earned the blue ribbon for "first place" in its category, "Nontradtitional Photograhy, Professional," at the 2005 NY State Fair. |
