Sunday, 06/18/2006
(Left) Opening lap saw Gary Miller #24 leading the fourteen kart
field from his pole starting position.
(Right) Ed Meynes #43 and Chris "Crusher" Stevens #8 race side by side
in back of Rob Jimenez #5, Jason Mills #0, and Matt Stevens #3.
Seconds later, Chris was unfortunately knocked off the track going into one.

(Finished 4th on track, DQed to 8th).
Reason: For plowing not one, but two karts off of the track on two
separate occasions.
This is a clearly illegal activity discussed & expressed in the signing
sheet.
Last week's most heroic driver was this week's worst
villain. Jason Mills rammed both Chris "ChrusherComix" and Rob Jimenez
off the track just minutes apart. Jason had to be penalized four spots,
deeply hurting his point total, and would likely be leading the standings if
not for these incidents.
Here Matt Stevens #3 gives and inside and outside move on
Gary Miller and the #24, but unfortunately hit a curb and the Galletta's
#3 was out for the night.
Matt then jumped into the twice rejected Galletta's #6 kart and and recovered for 4th position
in very little time.
The final lap saw Chris "ChrusherComix" and Gary Miller
side-by-side for nearly the entire lap, but Gary pulled it out in the
quicker outside groove for a Father's Day win. Chris worked his way
through the field three times to try and get a win for his wife Au's
birthday, but to no avail.
Gary led all 50 laps to score an impressive victory.
