US Online Gambling Law
March 17, 2008

The United States must gather it's strength and seek to legalize online gambling to avoid conflict with the world. The other option would be to keep the current law giving power at the state level to make it illegal to fund an offshore casino account. Keeping the federals view point on internet gambling p prohibition will not work for the US because in order to keep the prohibition, the US must pay the World Trade Organization $100,000,000,000 for broken treaty damages. The US is already in a huge national debt and should not attempt to come up with the money to pay more debts.

The choice for regulation, by US Congress, should be easy in that the law is already written in the United Kingdom. The "how to do it" part has already been established. Now, we Americans are asking, "why not legalize and regulate?" Gambling is a harmless form of recreation that hurts no one but the losing player who for his sake may need a little character building.

Why does the government think that online casinos are a haven for money laundering? Is there any proof of an online casino actually getting caught laundering money to Americans? Gambling business owners are just as much into righteousness as the common business owner - they just process a large amount of money. The US Governmet is now showing us that too much money for a businessman is not good. Why?

Online gambling must be regulated to show mercy on online gambling business owners who are ready and willing to pay their high taxes.
