About me

I came to Korea in August 2004.

I can speak only a little Korean.

I am an American guy.

My age is ??????????. What do you think? (hint: I’m 28 on Mars!)

I Don¡¯t always have a beard. Sometimes I shave it. What do you think? Better with or without?

I was born in Youngstown, Ohio, USA but lived most of my adult life in San Francisco

I like Korean food especially bibimbop, twinchongchigee, dokpokie, and hotok.

I have tried bondegi and sang nakjeh. Not bad

Other things I love about Korea are Chimchilbang, game board cafe, hotok (kind of fried sweet pancake, kongguksu, jang kook jang, gomi (the singer) all the jazz clubs and art galleries in Seoul (especially the Museum on Modern Art near City Hall.

I usually play soprano saxophone on the street and tenor sax in a club.

I studied 3 things so far in school; music education (ba) , physics (aa), and Teaching English (master’s)

Sometimes people want to give me things. I appreciate the support and encouragement, but I don’t play because I want to make money. I play because its fun and it’s a nice way for me to share and meet new people. I feel that by playing jazz, I can share a part of myself and my culture. All money that is donated to me, I give to charities such as Mongolian relief...$40; Greenpeace...$50; , Doctors without borders $100, an African relief fund $50. So far since April, 2007 I have made about $330.

thanks and , oh yeah, have a nice day!
