(read below) ----------------------------------------------- this past summer dancehall and roots reggae was in full effect as I was at the 7th annual SEEN festival in Berkeley, California and I must say that of all the local artist that i saw there and though they were all quite of the world-cla$$ caliber, none stood out in my mind like reggae artist; Oonka Symeon who in my opinion has a very "different" style, the type of style that stars are made of. having witnessed and heard this dynamic performer's very hip but rootsy vocal tones for myself, I felt that I was getting a glimpse of a future star in bay area reggae soul....A VERY UNIQUE SOUNDING ARTIST INDEED and although I did not get a chance to interview him i do feel that he is one worth seeing again!
