DISCLAIMER: Of course I
don't agree with every viewpoint espoused on these links.
However, each promotes one or more ideas which make them worthy of inclusion
in THE FOUNTAIN OF TRUTH.
If you find a broken link or
any other link out of the ordinary, PLEASE SEND ME AN E-MAIL. Recently,
someone notified me that the URL for a libertarian-conservative page to which I
had linked for quite some time was now the URL for a porno page. I much
appreciated being informed of this. With , it is impossible to keep up on every single one of
them. I do not need Tom Ridge, Abe Chertoff, John Ashcroft, Alberto Gonzales,
Bill Bennett, Dock-tahhh Dahhhb-son (here along Colorado's Front Range one most
pronounce his name with appropriate reverence and awe), Tipper Gore or any
other central scrutinizer to make me keep things clean. I keep them clean
because it is the right thing to do. This is a family show. Please help me. You
will get a Fountain of Truth attaboy.
Chalcedon
Foundation This page ought to comfort a lot of secular libertarians, who
falsely fear that Jesus is some sort of control freak. Likewise, it ought to
shake up a lot of mainstream Christians who would much rather tweak around the
periphery of our current form of government than restore it to its
constitutional and biblical roots. Read the Chalcedon Report
Libertarian
Medved Response Team Some Seattle Libertarians have put up a page to
counter the baseless anti-libertarian rantings of that whiny little eunuch
Michael Medved.
Milton Friedman Although I
did not register as a Libertarian until 1992, I think I became a libertarian
in 1980 when I read Free
to Choose. I am ashamed to admit that this page was almost
two-and-one-half years old before I realized that there was no link dedicated
to one of this century's pre-eminent libertarians. Take me to the woodshed!
Also check out Free to
Choose.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) The Libertarian Party's
1988 presidential candidate is back in Congress. Also, check out his Liberty Committee and their Pro-Freedom legislative
proposals. We need many more like Ron Paul, i.e. congressmen who actually
get it. Support his run for
re-election to Congress. As a matter of fact,we need Ron in the Oval Office. This
page has been in existence for over four years, and Rep. Paul remains the only
active elected thing to have a link. He is probably why God has not done the
Sodom and Gomorrah thing on Washington, D.C. Attention all dittoheads: this
guy is the true Ronaldus Magnus.
He now has his own blog.
Michael
Badnarik The Libertarian Party's candidate for president in 2004.
Harry
Browne Government doesn't work! The Libertarian presidential candidate in
1996 and 2000.
Robert Conquest
Perhaps the foremost historian of Soviet terror. Interesting name for someone
with that scholarly specialty. (Does he have a brother named Norman whose
scholarly pursuits center around the year 1066?)
Weather
Modification Not quite an anti-NWO site. However, I, too, was skeptical
that weather could be modified by artificial means. That was until I
saw this.
(Forty years after the civil rights movement taught
us that blacks do not all look alike, too many Americans persist in the
condescending and racist notion that blacks all think alike.)
Christian Personal Pages (These tend to
be business pages of friends of mine. There is no exclusivity, so if there is
more than one person in a particular profession listed, oh well. Consider it a
free ad.)
Charles
"Tex" Watson I am not making this up. In 1969, Watson was a member of the
Charles Manson "family" and took part in the Tate-LaBianca murders, one of the
most ghoulish crimes in American history. In the 1970s, while serving a life
sentence, Watson received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and today he
runs a prison ministry. Watson will be in jail for the rest of his life, but
nonetheless uses his station in life to be a wonderful influence for the cause
of Christ. His story is living proof that no one is so far lost that
Christ cannot redeem them, and give them new life. It is also crucial to
remember that it is never too late to come to Christ (Luke
23:42-43).
David
Berkowitz Yes, the "Son of Sam", who killed six people
in New York City in 1977, is now a Christian!
Unlike many libertarians, my extracurricular interests
are more athletic than intellectual. In 1998 and 1999, I ran the Bolder Boulder 10K race, the nation's
fourth largest. (A flare-up of an old back injury sidelined me the last few
years, but I intend to run it again.) I work out regularly at 24-Hour Fitness. I would much rather
kick back and watch the Dodgers,Steelers,Nuggets,Avalanche,Blue Devils,Trojans
or Nittany Lions than attend some
dorky, lame S**r T**k convention. Yes, some Libertarians do pay attention to
sports in between campaigns to defeat
stadium taxes. While we are on the subject, here are my picks for Major
League Baseball's All-Century
Team.
I am the sixth best looking
guy on the web.
