The church of St Mary's is located in the heart of  Wivenhoe village on the River Colne and is valued both as a building and a centre of worship for the community.  The Friends of St Mary's comprises a diverse group of residents and non residents, not all church goers, all of whom are dedicated to preserving this historic building.
