Answers to Test Questions:
A do gangi a?...Eeen, un do gangi.- Are you well? ... Yes, I am well.
Famille towe lo. Ye do gangi a?...Eeen, ye do gangi.- And your family, are they well? ... Yes, they are well
Asi towele lo, ye do gangi a?... Eeen, asi chele, ye do gangi.- And your wives, are they well? Yes, my wives are doing well.
Vi towele lo, ye do gangia? Eeen, ye do gangi. - And your kids, are they doing well? Yes, they are doing well.
Azo lo... Eeen, e do gangi - and your work. Yes, it's going well.
Sound clip #2- This is a trick question.
Eeen, oooOOO, Eeen, oooOOO, Eenn, oooOOO- This sounds really funny I know. If you're not really in a talkative mood and someone is greeting you in the full blown fashion, you will be bombarded with yes and no questions as in the sound clip #1. You can just answer the questions with "Eeen and oooOOO" (yes and I acknowledge your greeting if the questions starts with kudo...) if you're not in the mood to repeat back the question in the affirmative sense. I wouldn't do this all the time because you will appear aloof. It's more of a joke to pull on someone you know well. Back to top
