The Black Pilots of America (BPA) is 501(c)(3) organization chartered for a variety of purposes.  Chief among these being to promote African American participation in aviation and to introduce youth to the different fields in aviation and the aerospace industries.

The New Orleans Golden Ealges is the local component of the BPA for the New Orleans, Louisiana and metropolitan areas.  Our members are men and women who come from diverse backgrounds.  Some have professional aviation experience (military, general aviation, commercial airlines, charter pilots, flight instructors, educators, etc...), some are involved in aviation as a vocation and others are student pilots.

Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at varied locations (please call 504-312-9986 for meeting locations) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
