I would definately say this movie has the biggest following of any other movie released in 1999. I think it' popularity can even rival that of Star Wars'. I won't bother to explain the plot, because either you know it, or you won't understand it. One thing i love about it is that everything inside the matrix is green, not a spot of blue anywhere, and in the real world everything is mostly blue. This gives the movie a very cool look to it. The costumes also are just so cool, this is prehaps the coolest movie ever made. There is a lot of explaining for the first half or so, but it pays off with repeat viewings. The wire-work fung-fu rocks, and the action was revolutionary and will be copied for years to come no doubt. Go see this right now, and join the revolution. |
