Because the items they promote are intended to make the customer feel attractive and striking, fashion models are typically as well. |

Commercial Print Modeling: is for males & females who are generally featured in photo advertising and television commercials. The Print Model represents a wide variety of products and services from cars to cleaners, soft drinks to sofas and every product or company in between. Since they represent such diverse products, models can be very diverse in looks. |

Promotional Model: is "live" modeling of any variety of products or companies at events such as trade shows, conventions or in-store demonstrations. An example of a promotional model is the Budweiser girls. Many top models have started their career as a promotional modeling. This is a female only category. |

Sophisticated Model (Ages 30 and up): applies to women and men who can showcase their suitability and aptitude for commercial print and promotional modeling as well as television. Consumers continually demand models they can relate to, so there is a constant call for a Sophisticated model. |

Plus Size Modeling: is a sub-category of fashion modeling intended for larger, more full-figured women. As an increasing number of consumers demand models that they can identify with, there is a growing demand for Plus Size models. This is a female only category. |

Young Model (Children ages 5 to 12 and Teens ages 13 to 16): is for the young superstars who are not quite old enough to make it in other categories of modeling.
