In 1998 I connected to the internet. Since that time I have met many friends on the weird and wonderful world of the net.
In particualar the Derby County
Football Club chat room where netanoraks from all corners of the globe seemed to congregate.
Many of these folk got together and we formed a club on Yahoo.
We posted messages and used the chat room.
In recent times quite a few of us have even met in real life.
Whilst most of us are based in the East Midlands UK we have had contact with other netanoraks from all over the Uk and some from foreign countries.
