Elizabeth Butler
Award Winning Author, Elizabeth Butler is a pen name for author Eva Ridenour who writes novels and non-fiction. We hope you enjoy your visit and would like to know more about her and her books.  First though, a little about Elizabeth herself. 

Having grown up in the Midwest, Elizabeth and her family moved to Arizona and lived there for ten years.  This is where she grew to love the west and also where she discovered that her passion was writing.  Since then, she's actively been working to become a published author.  Her articles under her given name of Eva Ridenour have appeared in magazines such as Boys' Life, Persimmon Hill, Family MotorCoaching, Grit and religious publications. 

Her six novels are The Colonel's Widow, Trailboss, J.D.'s Rustler, Master of the Night, Calico Queen, Libby which completes the Barry sister triology. This novel was the winner of the Missouri Writers' Guild Walter Williams Major Work Award in 2005. This award is the highest given any work by the guild. Her newest novel, Blue Light Special and Yellow Brick Road Collide is now available. Please see the page that tells you more about this book.
