Canada says WTO will rule on US wood spat August 29 (July 23, 2003 / AFP) - Interesting... the ruling was supposed to have been announced July 22... just prior to the Montreal mini-ministerial. To some of the more cynical observers (e.g. me), this suggests that ruling may not be as favorable to Canada as anticipated... (and thus delayed so as not to expose Corporate Pett to negative political fallout around mini-ministerial time...).
