This site is a collection of software for playing Interactive Fiction (IF) adventures that I've ported to the EPOC O/S that runs on the Nokia Communicator 9200 series (9210/9290) and Psion PDAs. All the programs here are Freeware.
Interactive Fiction is text based adventure games made popular in the 1980's by such companies as Infocom, Level9 and Magnetic Scrolls. Although adventure games have "moved on" introducing pretty pictures and sound they have lost that quality that only text based games can produce - i.e. it leaves much more to your imagination.
The following IF interpreters are available here:
You'll need adventure files to play on these interpreters. In most cases you can get these from the links below. However Infocom adventures are still copyright but there is a large library of free games written in the Infocom format.
