This site is my little window to the world for showing my art. If it fits on a scanner, I'll likely as no get around to putting it up here.
Some of the things I place here are old and some will be new. It dosen't really matter, it's all for fun.
If you find my work unsteady, well... I work in starts and fits and unsteady is as good a description as any.
I do not make apologies for the nature or the lack of polish of my work. If you are looking for 'High Art' you are definitely in the wrong place.
All of my prints are printed by hand methods, ie. wooden spoon, baren, ect. Unless otherwise noted, all prints are open editions.
I am a member of Baren, Print Australia and the Monotype list. All of these are printmaking groups that interact thru the web and you will find links to many talented artists through those sites.

More often than no, I find that I like making a random mark, without any preconception of where I am going, and let the thought work itself out. This little oil was just such an exercise. A bit of thinned Burnt Umber, a few sheets of prepared papers and a good, round bristle is all you need to start off an afternoon playing with your favorite toys. |

One of the things I enjoyed about life drawing classes, way back when, was that I got to use a lot of charcoal. It isn't that I don't have any now-a-days, I just never use it outside a class. I'm hoping to change this by placing new charcoal sketches here from time to time.
Now if I can just find some willing sitters... |
