| A tribute to Ski-doo Elan! |
| This site is not about the fastest sled ever made, it´s about the cutest! Ski-doo started manufacturing the Elan in 1971 and did so until 1996. Thanks to its simplicity and smart design it was basicly the same machine that rolled of the line in 1996 compared to 1971. I´ve tried to make this site in the same spirit as Élan so you will not find any fancy add-ons here! |

| For the averege modern snowmobiler the little Elan looks realy odd. No CDI, oil injection, IFS, EFI or even slide suspension (except for SS). It is BACK TO BASIC. The Elan lasted 25 years and saw models like the Everests and Formulas come and go... Élan is french for enthusiasm, vigor and impetuosity. A perfect name for a sprightly little machine! |

| Some Elan models maybe missing because they were not imported to Sweden and this site is largelly based on the swedish boruchures. Please help me out with your private, stories, errors - you name it! If you snail mail me a photo I can scan it and mail it back to you. Go ´doo it! |
