The Beaches

With waves crashing on the shore, teletypes across the world chatter with the news.....the invasion of Europe has begun!

Allied forces land on the beach trading gunfire with the entrenched Axis army. The beachhead is chaos with bullets grazing past the men, quickly reminding them how short life really is. Finally, with the roar of arms, the beachhead is taken and the solders tend to the wounded and prepare to bury the dead.

The Fallen

The action of the beachhead is calm and it is time to remember the brave solders who have given the ultimate sacrifice; their lives. A moving tribute to those lost plays as twenty-one strikes of the bell toll in remembrance of the dead. A constant reminder of the turmoil that surrounds is heard just below the haunting sounds of the fallen.

The Liberation

There is little time to remember the fallen when we are brought back to the reality of war. Once again armies locked in the battle of freedom take aim on one another in an attempt to deny each his victory. The battle continues as forces trade the high ground. As the battle rages the strength of the victors becomes ever stronger until the sounds of liberation prevail and France is free.
