This website is designed to help our locals residents with information on our local Relay For Life 24 hour walk held each year on the Wallenpaupack school grounds. It is a way for our community to come together and help raise money to combat a disease that doesn't care who it hurts.
The estimated number of cancer related cases in Pennsylvania in 2004 is over 72,000.
The estimated number of deaths is almost 30,000.
Although these numbers are staggering, the percentage of survivors since the inception of the Relay For Life 20 years ago, has given us hope that we can battle and win the fight against cancer!
The Relay for Life was designed to raise money that stays in our state for research and information on dealing with the disease should you or a family member or friend discover they have cancer.
It takes 24 hours out of your year to get together with friends, family and co-workers to raise money and help
find a cure. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact us for information on how you can start a team or join an existing team.
