| The "Dukes of Dixie" Dixieland Band is an exciting, versatile jazz band made up of five to six eclectic musicians. Their enjoyment of performing this exciting music is shown in all of their shows. The members perform with various groups within St. Marys, Kincardine, Ontario, as well as Bayfield, Ontario. The "Dukes" are very versatile group, performing traditional Dixieland Jazz as well as Contemporary Jazz and pop numbers to suit any occasion. If LIVE and EXCITING jazz is you're cup of tea, then WE'RE the GROUP for YOU! May I introduce to you THE DUKES OF DIXIE Alan Lounds: Trumpet/Flugelhorn (This Guy had better be HOT!) David Manning will also spit through his horn for us from time to time. Ron Daniels:Stretchs his neck and guitar strings equally Earl Filsinger: Banjo/Guitar (Fastest Plucker I Know!)also plays with us on occasion Karen Weber:: Bass (The Bass is our Foundation!) Laurence Gauci is another brick in the wall for the Dukes and Paul Shilton also stretches the wire for us. Steve Hasbury: Clarinet/Sax "No wonder it leaks,its' got holes in it" Ken Hadley has squeaked for us on occasion, and we thank him for it! Also like to thank Steven Gruchy for filling those holes from time to time Al Cobain:Stick handler and drum beater extraordinaire. ( and he gets to sit down an play) and also like to announce ( drum roll...) Chris & Tim Adair who play with us from time to time to time two time.... Paul Dearlove: Trombone/Vocals (His Carol Channing is to DIE FOR....) Nobody can replace him ( my web site! hehe) The Dukes have recently performed for dances, weddings ( what a cool thing to do) bars, corporate, organizational groups.
