| Kapsowar Mission Hospital is part of Africa Inland Church Health Ministrys. Kapsowar Hospital is an 80 bed Hospital. It is the only hospital in the district and serves a least an area of a houndred thousand people. Staffed by mostly Kenyans, with a few expatriots who fill roles as doctors and nurses. Kapsowar is located in the Marakwet District. At an Altitude of 7500ft. It's a primarily a farming community. Made up of farms ranging from 4 acres to anything smaller. Maize is the primary crop and it is used to make the staple food, Ugale. The Marakwet have there own tribal language. But most also speak Kiswahili and some also know English. |
