Welcome to the Barony of Dragon
Spyre's online world. We are a chapter of Amtgard
International, mundanely located in Cedar City, Utah. Our sponsoring
Kingdom is The Empire of the Iron
Mountains.
This Barony was founded by a group of friends, tired of the inner politics & back-biting of other re-enactment groups in the area. The founders merely wanted a place to play, get to know new people, feast & wear funky clothing. These needs were met in Amtgard, plus the added bonus that all of them were able to afford to play too. Thus, on February 12, 1998, the Shire of Dragon Spyre came into being.
The Shire grew so much, that in 2000 it became the Barony of Dragon Spyre. The Barony began its 13th reign in February, 2004, under HE Nicolas Se'Rech (Baron) & HE Sorcha MacAnRoigh (Baroness). The Chancellor is Shadow Wolf & the GMR is Connor McNew.

Typically our Fall & Winter
reign is one of Feasting, planning, & Arts & Sciences as we prepare
for the much busier reign ahead. During the Spring & Summer reign we
are busy with Battlegames, feasting, jugging & the Utah
Midsummer Renaissance Faire, where we provide color, demonstrations
& help with set up & tear down.
We have officially begun our Fighting Season, and have moved our events & activities outdoors (weather permitting).
