MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTER REV IAN H WALES:

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the website of Dovercourt Central Church.   We have a lively Church fellowship comprising mainly members from the United Reformed and  Methodist, traditions situated at the heart of the Community of Dovercourt.   Before coming here in September 2006, I served in recent years in Circuits in the North East of England where I originally grew up and feel very privileged to serve in this wonderful part of the world.

We are excited about the future at Dovercourt Central with the URC ATOM Course looking at every member ministry, a Circuit event around the theme of 'Fresh Expressions' and a visit from the Family Friendly Churches Trust planned for 2007.

Our premises are extensively used by the local community and we constantly seek to build bridges between ourselves and our neighbours, and to be a place where people can find God for themselves.

We hope that if you are passing that you will call in and see us

Ian H Wales
