The Fundamentals of Pantheism
1) There are no gods, demons or other-worldly deities who can only be reached through devotion and death. There is the Universe, which creates and destroys all life. The Universe is all-encompassing, and it has no beginning or end. It was never created, nor shall it ever die. It has always existed and always shall.
2) The Universe is made up of energies which grow and shrink. This energy is the source of all life. It is what gives spirit to form, and is the celestial matter of the Universe. It is called Spirit. It is non-sentient, nor does it have a larger plan. It exists solely to create.
3) All living things have Spirit. It gives emotion, inspiration and psychosis to all living things. This is called Spirituality. When the corporeal body (physical body) of a being dies, it's Spirit returns to the Universe, where it rejoins all Spirit and eventually comes back as another living being.
4) Nature is the result of the Universe. Creation, growth, decline and destruction are all Natures. This is the Naturality of the Universe.
5) The Body is the physical form of a living being, which harbours Spirit. The Body is capable of feeling physical pain and pleasure. The Body is a Temple, and every being's Body is their own Temple. The Body is created through Nature and grows, declines and inevitably dies, where it decomposes and returns the Spirit to the Universe.
6) Every being should take care of their Body and consider good health a celebration of the Body.
7) During corporeal life, the Body and Spirit are intimately fused together. Pain to the Body will taint the Spirit. This is called dissonance. As well, Spirit can suffer dissonance through humiliation, betrayal, guilt and depression. Dissonance creates a tainted Spirit, which taints the Universe.
8) Pleasure to the Body heals and strengthens Spirit. This is called resonance. The art of sex between two lovers whose Spirits are intimately aware of one another creates much resonance. Gentle touches and other pleasures also does this. A Spirit can also receive resonance through laughter, love, happiness and confidence. Resonance heals dissonance, and helps to untaint the Universe.
9) As the Universe creates through Nature, so too does the Spirit through the Body. Spirit must create in order to fulfill the longing to be a part of the Universe. Art is the highest form of celebrating Spirit and the Universe. Individuality and freedom of thought and action are necessary to create Art, and when this happens, the Art becomes a part of the Universe, and is also part of it's creator.
10) The creation of life is also the Nature of the Universe, and so the creation of life is also the Nature of the Spirit. Two beings who are able to should create life. As well, the nurturing and growth of life is Nature, and all beings should help raise the young.
11) Knowledge enhances and strengthens the Body's perception, and thus it brings the Spirit closer to the Universe.
12) No gurus should lead Pantheists, and each Pantheist should explore their own Spirituality, Body and Willpower.
13) The coming together of Pantheists for discussion, nurturing and celebration is important. This is called the Community. The Community should partake in raising children, protecting and nurturing one another and educating each other.
14) No living being should suffer poverty, bondage, torture or discrimination. Every person's individuality is a Fundamental Right, as is the well-being of their Body. A person suffering these things also suffers dissonance, and the Universe is tainted.
15) Life and living should be celebrated and respected. Because creation is the purpose of the Universe, then life is the result of that. This too is Nature.
16) Science and Art are the aspirations of the Spirit, while love, pleasure and life are the aspirations of the Body. These aspirations are the aspirations of the Universe.
17) Poverty, suffering, injustice and pain taint the Universe and should be defended against.
18) Sex should be practised not just for procreation, or to take pleasure, but as an Art in which pleasure is given by both partners, and thus returned.
19) Death is not an end in itself, nor is there an afterlife. The memory of those who have passed away should be cherished and celebrated, and thus, those who are alive should act in a way that will have their memories cherished. The Spirit will be reunited with the Universe after death, and then made into a life-form again.
20) The Universe cannott be understood in it's entirety, although knowledge enhances the Spirit's connetion to the Universe.
