This website is dedicated to the memory of my
1979 Chevrolet Nova Custom
Here is how the car looked when I first bought it from a good friend in 1996:

The following year I had Maaco do a "cheap" paint job on it:

1998 brought about new rims and tires for the Nova:

1999 was the year of the transmission rebuild (did it myself - I'm so proud - grin)

2000 was the new 300HP 350 engine:

And some major interior work (with seats borrowed from my 79 Camaro Z/28):

2001 was the final year of progress for the Nova with all new front and rear suspension - lowering the car about 2-1/2" up front and 1" in the back:

I started noticing problems with the car in 2001 with major rust (floor pans rotted out, doors rotted around the bottoms), major bondo in the rear quarters, bondo under the windshield, and many other rust/body problems.
So it was decided to transfer the engine, transmission, front and rear suspension and the seats into my 79 Camaro and concentrate on it and our 84 GMC Suburban instead...
There it goes to the "big parking lot in the sky"

So long, old friend...
