Danish Special Operations Forces and LRS - units

The NATO-country Denmark has 5 military special operations and LRRP-units. They are:

* Jægerkorpset (JGK) : The Huntercorps are the Danish Army Special Forces (SOF) * Frømandskorpset (FKP) : The Frogmancorps are the Danish Navy SEALs (SOF) * Sirus-patruljen (PGN) : Patrol Northern Greenland, is a specialised arctic dogsledge patrol (LRRP) * Patruljekompagni / Danske Division : PTL COY / DDIV is a Army Reserve LRRP-coy (LRRP) * Patruljekompagni / Hærens Operative Kommando : PTL COY / AOC is a Danish National Guard / Territorial Army LRRP-coy that operats for the Danish Army Operations Command during war. (LRRP)

Beside these units the danish armed forces has a varraity of patroling, recon and scout units in the Army and in the Homeguard. The units can be categorised by their Tasks, Capacities, Insertion methods, Operational range and time behind enemy lines. Note: Anti-terrorist tasks are carried out by the Danish Police special reaction force AKS. Defence units may only assist under the command of the Police
