The 2008 Race Season is here and outrageous gas prices have put a bit of a damper on how many races we are able to attend this year. We will pick and choose them carefully making every trip worth while (the track is 2.5hrs one way from home).

Keara is always striving to do better and sets herself goals to walk away with more wins every year and take the losses with her head up. She is by far not spoiled and does not get anything in this sport just handed to her. She keeps very good grades and works very hard to continue racing. She occasionally puts some of her own money towards her racing.

Her first time on the track in 2008 her Dad told her be careful run it slower, it's been a while since you've drove your car so take it easy and just get it to the other end to get used to it then run it out next run. Well when Keara shot off the line she obviously was not holding back running the 1/8th mile in 8.91 seconds at just under 75mph. When her Dad picked her up at the ticket booth she said, "I'm sorry Daddy I couldn't help myself no words could explain how good it felt to be back in that car". Her Dad smiled back at her and said, "I understand".
