This year, I evolved as a storyteller. I made a short film at the 2007 edition of Maisha Film Lab. It’s a script I wrote as a challenge to myself, to see if I can tell a story without using any dialogue, and from the response I got at the lab, I fairly succeeded. I got two short stories published by Gowanus Books. The editor there is a charming old man. While another short story was accepted by Escaping Elsewhere. Click here to read my short stories.

 

In May 2007, the first short film that I wrote, After the Silence, directed by Irene Kulabako, premeired at Uganda’s Amakula Film Festival.
