Lethal Overo White = N/O Mister carries one copy of the overo gene. If bred to another overo they have a 25% chance of producing a lethal white foal.
Cream Dilution = N =Mister does NOT carrie a cream gene. He is registered as a palomino only because APHA does not recognize Pearl as a color yet. Agouti (Bay/Black) = A/A Black pigment distributed in the points pattern. Basic color is brown or bay in the absence of other color modifying genes Red Factor = e/e Basic color sorrel or chestnut in the absence of other modifying genes.
Pearl = Prl/Prl *Color modifying gene when in double dose* Mister is a homozyous pearl overo. Pearl behaves as a recessive gene with respect to the hair color. One dose of the mutation does not change the coat color of black, bay or chestnut horses. Two doses on a chestnut background produces a pale, uniform apricot color of body hair, mane and tail. Skin coloration is also pale. Pearl is known to interact with cream dilution to produce pseudo-double (cremello) cream dilute phenotypes including pale skin and blue/green eyes. **Every foal will carrie a pearl gene**
