This program, supported by the generous financial support of GAPP, Inc. in New York, has allowed us to participate for the first time in a  partnership with the Oekumenisches Gymnasium.

On April 2, 2006, fifteen students and one teacher arrived in Anchorage, Alaska from the Oekumenisches Gymnasium in Bremen, Germany to begin their 21 day exchange.

On July 2, 2006, thirteen students and two teachers will travel from Anchorage, Alaska  to Bremen, Germany where they will complete the 2006 exchange.

German American school partnerships serve to improve German instruction in United States high schools and to deepen and enhance the participants' knowledge and understanding of the host country.
