Aspiring golf professional- Katja Dammann
Welcome to my official website. My name is Katja and I aspire to become a professional golfer. I was born in
Germany and have been in the USA going on 7 years, which is also when I
picked up my first golf club. Since then not many days have gone by where I didn't put my heart
into practicing, trying to figure out this very complexed and fascinating game...
I know what it takes to become successful, and that beating balls is not enough. I am very thankful to be able
work with highly knowledgeable coaches such as Bob Montello,
Geoff Mangum,
Craig Sigl and James Robertson.
But, in the end, it is up to me and my enormous drive and determination to never give up until I reach my goal.
I not only have the physical talent to realize my dream but I also have what it takes between the ears...
Currently I am attending UNC Pembroke University while playing on their golf team. Concluding my Sophomore year I achieved five
top 5 finishes in 10 starts. I was awared Academic All American with a GPA of 4.0 for the second year in a row and was named
"The Most Valuable Player" for the women's golf team .
