Derry Air are a banjo/guitar/vocal duo based in Liskeard, Cornwall.

We play a blend of folk/country/bluegrass music and also include material by poular artists such as Van Morrison, David Gray and the Rolling Stones. As well as our local circuit of Devon and Cornwall we can be regularly found on tour in Europe. In 1999 we spent three months around the west coast of Ireland and since then have cropped up in France, Switzerland, Spain and Germany.

Everything we play is done live without the aid of backing tracks etc. This preserves the nature of the music we play and also allows us to perform acoustically or amplified with equal ability.
