| August 2nd - Projected Due Date (based on cycle) July 28th - Bryce arrives after about 16 hours at the hospital. Click here to read the whole birth story. July 22nd - Projected Due Date (based on sonograms) July 17th - Julie is now dilated to 3 centimeters and is 90% effaced. Dr. Van Someren says it will be any day now. July 10th - We went to see the doctor today and got exciting news. First of all, he now measures almost 40 weeks and second, and even more exciting, Julie is dilated about 2 to 3 centimeters and is 75% effaced and baby is definitely head down! Dr. Van Someren doesn't expect it to be long now. Also, the Strep B screen came back negative which means that Julie may not have to spend two nights in the hospital. July 1st - Went in for a checkup today and had the Strep B screening done, we'll get the results at our next appointment. April 17th - Went in for a checkup today, not much new. Dr. Van Someren was glad we were able to get the third sonogram to calm our worries and says everything is coming along fine. April 11th - We called the doctor's office this morning because we were concerned about yesterday's news and they got us an appointment with a perinatologist (a really highly trained OB/Gyn with special training in sonography). She was able to find his stomach right away and sent us home with a lot of really good pictures which have also been added to his picture page here. He's still running two weeks ahead. April 10th - We had our second sonogram today and the technician was unable to locate his stomach so we are a bit concerned. Everything else was normal and he still looks to be about two weeks ahead of schedule. We added the pictures from today to his picture page located here. March 13th - We went to see the doctor today for our first sonogram and found out that we are going to have a big, healthy boy. They gave us seven pictures and you can see them here. We also had a regular appointment with Dr. Van Someren and she says that everything seems to be coming along nicely. |

| We are going to be having our baby at Presbyterian Hospital here in Albuquerque. It's about a 30 or 35 minute drive from our house so we'll have to hope we have plenty of warning so we can make the trip as uneventfully as possible. Click here to see a map of the route. |
