The ORBs phenomenon has gained many fans in recent years, and it would seem that this would just, as they say of many things, come to pass. It might enjoy a brief heyday of attention, only to be eased aside in favor of more mundane matters. Not so with this stubbornly wondrous paranormal event. It has a way of staying in the consciousness, always somewhere out there, near and far away at the same time. This is all well and good, the strange quirks of a strange story. Yet just when it seemed to be understood that way, things get a little stranger still, and the story takes on some new dimensions of its own. We call this little journey into the realm of the wondrous ORBS: Another Side of This Reality.
Imagine for a moment, a person who might look at these ORBs as friends, possessing not only a consciousness but one capable of some degree of communication. One that responds to the intentions of one's heart and a capacity to reach out across space and time itself. Approaching the wondrous as an equal requires extreme openness, and requires fortitude as well. Not a fortitiude of conflict or aggression, but more of a look for yourself into the entire realm of creation. To define for oneself just what is real and unreal, making the unknown into the known. The rewards of this approach may seem like a strange story getting stranger, but they just might be an important aspect of our true nature and our own beautiful human capacity.
Ponder if you will, the possibility that perhaps this ORB/Human contact benefits both sides, adding more than a touch of poignancy to this tale of two willing participants. A bit of meditation, a simple expression of friendship such as offering a flower or an extended hand to a travelling stranger. Who can say with certainty how far an act of kindness might reach. Maybe in the case of our story, across the reaches of space and time. Maybe it gets lonely out there in those other dimensions, or maybe it's just nice to travel and make new friends. So for those voyagers through this reality that should ever take a moment to ponder what else might be out there.....ponder also what may be looking back at you in wonder.
Here's to that star voyager that lives in the hearts of all of us. Here's to those fleeting moments when the planets are aligned just right, when there's nothing to stop a moment's perfect harmony. A unique moment, an unforgettable moment, a pure wonder. For this moment, anything imagined is possible and the joy of exploration is the weight of its reward across the boundaries of space and time.
