Players are hard at work with summer conditioning. A nice contingent of rising freshman are getting a dose of what's expected of them in high school football. The upper classmen are continuing to set the example in leadership. Once again this summer, the Demons will be participating in 7 on 7 drills to hone those passing and defensive skills. Circle this date on your calender - Friday, August 21. That is the date of LE's annual football jamboree. Plans are still be finalized and an announcement will be made later in the summer on what teams will be here. Every year we have had it, we have had a state champion begin their season by playing here. Important Announcement - Yahoo has informed me that geocities (the site that hosts this site) will be closing down sometime later this year. That means this site will be gone. I have talked to Coach Jones and he said the new demonathletics.org site, could host the same features you've come to expect here. At this time, that is what the plan is. Yahoo does offer a paid plan to host websites, and I'm checking into that. I also may check other free hosting services to see if they are an option. I will post any info on a new site once it all gets figured out and done. Check out this slideshow featuring Demon Football Link to a season recap blog, including season ending stats.
