| PETTY THEFT AT THE RTA STOP: CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO Two men robbed a man of $5 at a RTA bus stop at South Noble and Mayfield roads. This is quite disturbing to me. It isn’t disturbing because of the theft, just because these men would waste their time stealing $5. Also it is disturbing that it took two men to do this act of crime. COVENTRY ROAD: CRIME SCENES BY THE DOZENS, CLEVELAND HEIGHTS Two boys were arrested for van-dalizing cars and parking meters on Coventry Rd. Someone took a handful of money out of a cash register at Coventry Bookstore. The front window of a bar and grill was smashed into tiny shards. This Coventry Rd. should have its own TV show. Perhaps Law and Order – Coventry Rd. or CHPD Blue (Cleveland Hts. Police Department). TWO CARS BROKEN INTO AT THE TEMPLE: BEACHWOOD, OHIO Two cars were broken into at The Temple on Shaker Blvd. The criminals took two purses containing credit cards, cash, and ID cards. Who would really wants an ID card? What uses would that have. Enough with the jokes. This criminal act comes close to home. I go to The Temple along with some fellow Zephyr writers and I don’t think this act of crime should be laughed at or made fun of. J/K. |

| Is football fan friendly? The question that haunts my own ears. You bet it’s not, and that’s why it is. Now you may be thinking, why would he think that dogs are the most superior being? Football is the definition of fan unfriendly, why else would 80 thousand people come together every week, in the cold, in the rain, and with no shirt on? The answer is simple, they never had the opportunity to embark on a wilderness adventure. You see, football is not about blowup toys and Cracker Jacks. Football is about hard hits and eating way too much, not to mention two hand touch. Football may cost money but that’s because those players need to recover, do baseball players need recover? Yes, you bring up a good point. However when is the last time you saw a baseball player get high lowed by the bat boy and the bull pen catcher. That is what I thought dunnie. Recognize the fact that skills comes with bills, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Football is beautiful, and fans will not forget that. They may sacrifice a little to go to the games, but hey, if we want to party then we gonna club it. Football has a special something, something that attaches to Americans. Why else is college football the most watched college sport, why else is there coverage on public TV every Sunday of the NFL? Football is majestic in splendor. Why are there football stadiums at high schools? Football isn’t fan-friendly, I think not. Football=fan-friendly, you bet your bottom Jinga block it is. It’s a beautiful thing when you catch a good game or a hard hit. It is comparable to the great leap by Carl Lewis. And I quote, “God gave us hands, use them,” end quote. I love football and The Original Drumstick (Vanilla filling). It is a perfect world on the field, similar to the children on that show with that train. Football has been good to me and I have been good to my Design 2 markers (I always make sure the cap is on tight). I hold a lot of respect for football and even more respect for that dog at the Tennessee games. If there was one thing I could do on a deserted island it would be playing with magnetic darts. If there was two things, then I would also bring along a self counting skip-it. Football never really comes into the equation, but I still love it. So I leave you with this post-it® note: Always get air pumped into you right sleeve before challenging Jerome Bettis to a skip-it contest. |
