WELCOME TO DELOW RIDER'S           HOME PAGE
What a mess I had just bought.  What was I thinking?  Not sure but I was determined to make something from this!
Stock 1983 chevy S 10 long box with a lot of TLC needed to bring it to life.
I need to change over the box to start with and then all the rest of the panels of the truck.  While I had nothing but from and suspension, I decided to put in a chevy small block as a V6 just was not good enough.  I had it bored over 30, with a mild cam.  then I replaced the intake with an edelbrock and a matching carb.  True dual exhaust to finish that over and now 325 horses later i am now satisfied.  Followed by a 3 speed trans with a stage 3 shift kit.  Crome here and there to make it look a little more shiney.
The body had to be done next.  I replaced the front inner and outer fenders with brand new GM's.  The hood and rad support also came from GM, along with the doors.  The cab was ordered from down south and so was the box.  I got a little adventurous and shaved the door handles to fully automatic doors.  Once reassembled straight to the bady shop for some more work, but not much.  While at the body shop I had decided to change the roof into a targe top witch i had done there.  I ordered some fogs from down south and placed those in to from bumber.  The rear tail gate was then shaved also.  Rear roll pan stayed plain and simple.
Then came the fun part?  The fully hydraulic suspension.  Now that was cool.  I took time to do this.  The suspension has full motion.  Front, back, side to side.  Now has crome pumps and the switchs are in the cab.  Just had to have it.
The interior had to be next after it was sprayed.  I took a while to decide on what to do with the dash.  I decided wood would give it the look I needed.  The dash took a while to fit perfect but yes was finished.  The rest of the interior came along to match.
After interior done I needed a sound system.  With Claroin deck, changer and EQ we had a start.  Zapco amps to push JL sub, mids and highs.  Nothing crazy but enough.
Finally the finishing touches.  The rims were added. Touches here and there.

2 years later the project is completed.
                          ITS SHOW TIME.
