Please do not copy or place this tutorial or any graphics to any other place without written permission directly from me.  Thank you.

This is my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.

For this tutorial you will need the following -
Paint Shop Pro -Download a Trial Version-HERE
Alien Skin Eye Candy 4000 -Download a Trial Version -HERE

Unfortunately you cannot use Eye Candy 3.1 as it does not have the Corona Effect.

Any image of your choice, or you may use the one below.
Just right click on the image, and hit copy, then open in PSP.

I don't know where this image came from, so if anyone does, please let me know, so I can give proper credit.

Remember to save your work often.
Ok, lets begin.

1/ Open your image, press Shift D to duplicate, then close the original.
Resize to 320 on the longest side, then sharpen.

2/ With your eyedropper tool,       choose a dark colour from your graphic for your frame.
I choose #976B50, and make it your background colour. Set your foreground colour to null.

3/ Go to "image" - "add borders" and add a symmetric border of 15.

4/ Use your magic wand,      set at "match mode=RGB value" - "Tolerence=0" - "Feather =0" and select your frame.

5/ Go to "effects" - "3d effects" - "inner bevel" and apply the inner bevel pictured below.
Do not deselect.

6/ Go to "selections" - "invert" then "selections - "float".

7/ Go to "effects" - "3d effects" - "cutout" and apply the cutout pictured below.
Do not deselect yet.

Reapply the cutout, but change the horizontal and vertical to minus four.
Deselect.

8/ With the same background colour, add a symmetrical border of 25, and select with your magic wand.

9/ Go to "effects" - "plugins" - "Eye Candy 4000" - "swirl", and apply the settings pictured below.

Do not deselect.

10/ Go to Eye Candy 400 again, this time to "Corona", and apply the settings pictured below.
Do not deselect yet.

11/ Go to "selections" - "float", (do not invert) and apply the cutout effect we used previously, but change the horizontal and vertical to 2.
Do not deselect.

12/ Reapply the same cutout, but change your vertical and horizontal to minus 2.
Now you can deselect.

13/ Add a symmetrical border of 15 with the same background colour, and select with your magicwand.

14/ Apply the same inner bevel we used in step 5.
Go to "selections - "invert".

15/ Apply the Eye Candy 4000 Corona again, same settings as in step 10.

16/ Deselect and you are finished.

Resize for your graphic group and remember to sharpen.

Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. Below is another one in a different colour.
