Update December 2005

     I decided to buckle down and change my life. I now use the
Quick Fit System for exercise and the Eat Right Now Plan that comes with it. I have lost 25 pound is in 8 weeks and over 25 inches, I measure 1 bicep, 1 thigh, chest, waist and hips. You can join me and become a fit healthy person no matter what your age or shape.
     I have never followed a fad diet. I have lost weight 2 times in my life and gained it back. I also followed a strict diet when I was pregnant to manage gestational diabetes. The diets I followed were a 1000 calorie lowfat no sugar diet from the doctor designed for diabetics. I lost 60 pounds(I weighed 140 when finished) and I did not exercise I was around age 25. Then I gained and gained unitl I woke up in my late 30's weighing close to 270. I started cutting out snacks and junk and made a doctors appointment hoping to get on a medical fasting diet.
     I weighed 267 by time I got to my appointment. Luckily the doctor I had was sensible and told me I need to exercise and gave me a referal to a nutritionist. I followed a 1200 calorie version of the DASH Diet and exercised 5-6 days anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. On weekends I hiked 6 to 8 miles in the mountains. I was not following my food plan exactly and had gained about 20 pounds. Losing weight allowed me to get pregnant. I then followed the strict diabetic diet and only gained 14 pounds since my first visit. I lost 16 by my six week check up. After that I struggled with getting back into exercise and never could stay on the diet. I was nursing my baby. Everytime I tried the follow the diet I ended up starving and that was because I was starving myself. I tended to repeat the same exercises and that cause injuries and soreness.
