HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT DEBT CONSOLIDATION?
HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROFIT AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT?
Every 5 seconds someone new falls into debt...it's probably happened to you or someone you know.

That's how you arrived here. Maybe you juggle every week to pay what you can...and are just managing to stay ahead of the creditors. Maybe you're paying occassional late fees (or overlimit penalties). Maybe you only answer your phone AFTER you know who is on the other end...or you've trained the kids to screen your calls.
If any of these situations apply to you, you're probably an excellent candidate for debt consolidation.

But WHICH company? Are they reputable? Will they
really pay my bills? Can they get benefits for me that I can't get for myself? Or will I just make a bad situation worse?

How do I know I won't get 'ripped off'?

YOU DON'T, DO YOU?
Sit in front of your computer and do a search on 'debt consolidation'.

There will probably be some 2,000,000 webpages returned that contain the subject 'debt consolidation'. How do you know where to go from there? Just pick one of the top 3 'recommended' sites, right?
WRONG!

Every single time I do that same search, no matter which search engine I use, at least one of the '
top three' is a scam. (See newspaper article on one of the 'top three' on next page) Note that the search engine has a disclaimer that says the sites are not endorsed by them and that they are not responsible for 'content'. So why are 'bad' companies in the 'top three'? They pay big bucks to webhosting companies to get there. It's called 'positioning'. And they're betting the average person doesn't know this...that people are so desperate for help that they'll jump at the first site that promises to help them. And they're laughing all the way to the bank!

The internet is a wonderful forum for people to apply for services in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, but as in all areas of commerce, there are many people who thrive on taking advantage of others when they're down. There are also many reputable companies that can offer you great benefits through a LEGITIMATE non-profit debt management program. The author does NOT recommend one particular company over another, but rather, offers all the info you'll need to ask the right questions of any company you contact so you can make an informed decision.

.....Thank you. I had spoken to 5 or 6 debt consolidation companies and was ready to send my 'last pay first' to someone who assured me he would 'take care of everything'. A friend was doing research on debt consolidation at that same time. She let me read your book. I would have gladly paid for it as your information saved me from making a $568 mistake. Thank you again......
