In January of 1998 the television series Dawson's Creek premiered on the WB Network.  The show based on 4 young teens growing up together in the fictitious town of Capeside, Massachusetts was actually shot in the very charming waterfront town of Wilmington, North Carolina.  Dawson's Creek was the story of  4 friends; Dawson Leary, Joey Potter, Pacey Witter & Jen Lindley and the experiences that they shared during their transition from young teens to adulthood.   Their stories that would unfold over the next 6 years would test their friendship and love for one another captivated fans of all ages from around the world.  As the show's popularity grew it began to develop a very loyal fan base seemingly overnight.  As word among fans began to spread that the show was being filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina fans began to travel to the small seaside town to watch the show being filmed and to brush elbows with its stars.  Some fans were even lucky enough to be extras on the show. I have traveled to Wilmington several times myself and have toured many of the locations around town and along the water where the stars spent 6 years of their lives filming some of our favorite scenes among the beautiful scenery of  Dawson's Creek.  Unfortunately after 6 successful seasons the show came to an end.  Now all of those locations that Dawson, Joey, Pacey, Jen, Jack & Andie shared with us and the great memories that went with them are slowly beginning to fade away.  This website is dedicated to stars and scenery of  Dawson's Creek, to the now Ghosts of Wilmington.
