Williams, a diversified singer will rock your blues away! Her style of
music is universal, and has been recognized by Billboard with an Award of Achievement for her original song STONE COLD FOOL. Dawn has the ability to mix her blues with an influence
of Rock, R&B, Jazz, Pop and Reggae in her performances.
Her style of music is like "Bonnie Raitt meets Etta James", yet Dawn has a
distinctive sound all her own from soft sultry tones to belting
it out with an incredibly powerful voice.
A Well Seasoned Performer, Dawn knows how to engage the audience with her easy style and always making it fun!
Dawn was formerly with Slick
Willy Crazy, a Funk/Rock/R&B group that she
co-founded with her late husband, guitar veteran Emery
Williams, Jr. (Emery recorded with Johnny Nash, Ray
Charles, Motown's producer Eddie Singleton and many
others).
Dawn not only performs both with her band and
as an acoustic solo artist but sings backup for many of Chicago's blues, rock and pop artists as well both live on stage and on cd's. For information about
