The Solar Rover

The Solar Rover is a portable electricity supply.  It is as simple as a self charging (from the sun) deep cycle battery. Sales could be directed to third world countries for reading lights in homes without power. It could be used in any of the following applications:

* To provide lighting for sheds or barns.

* Road side power for emergency lighting.

* Remote buildings that do not have electricity.

* RV's

Introducing The Meter Beater

 Why The Meter Beater?

The Meter Beater combines the use of Industry-Leading PV Modules, Power Conversion Equipment, Innovative Structure Design, and High-Quality Balance of System Materials into a Complete Grid-Interactive PV System.

Utilizing a Freestanding Ballasted-Base Array Structure comprised of two specially designed and constructed components , the Meter Beater provides versatile array location and configuration options.

Built of Heavy Duty G-90 Galvanized Sheet Steel, the Solar Snap-Pack is designed to ensure many years of Maintenance-Free Service.   Modules can be attached using fixing screws or the optional Solar Snap-Clip.

Scaleable to any size. Commercial or residential.

This view shows a single assembled Snap-Pack with one PV Module attached.

The slope of the Modules is fixed at the optimum angle for Maximum Annual kWH Production.

A Space Efficient Single-Row 1-kWAC Snap-Pack Layout.

A single person using no specialty tools can rapidly assemble the Meter Beater.

Attachment of the PV Modules is also a Snap.

Efficiency & Long Life!

Here you can see a Partially assembled proto-type 1-kWAC Meter Beater Array in a 3-Row Configuration.

The Meter Beater offers the highest degree of flexibility in arranging the array to fit virtually any available space.

On smaller installations the Inverter and disconnects are attached directly to the assembled Snap-Pack.

This inherently shaded mounting substantially improves Inverter efficiency & reliability, yielding more kWH’s & longer equipment.

The inverter mounting plate - designed by Solar Development.

In this application it is fitted to the back of the tubs, but can be used in many other applications.

The Meter Beater . . .

Cost-Effective & Easily Installed!

The entire Array is securely held in place by adding gravel as ballast to the Snap-Pack base before the PV Modules are attached.

There is no need for expensive concrete or excavation.

The Snap-Pack is assembled using  standard hand tools.
