My mission statement:

Hello and welcome to possibly the only website which started written from the ground up using only the power of a Nokia N80 mobile phone and my knowledge of Html code. (no frontpage or dreamweaver here thanks ;-p )

The reason for the site lays behind a number of reasons, firstly for a while I have wanted to have a site online, (ever since leaving secondary school really, however never had the time to sit in front of a PC for such a time whilst being able to stay focused to the project), with a laptop in need of repair and a family PC in constant use at the time I thought with the my knowledge of mobile technology and my addiction to the internet I thought that there may well be a way to do most things a computer can do with a mobile phone like the Nokia N80.

I'm still learning HTML, CSS and Web 2.0 from the ground up and so at this time I only know a handful of the many different tags for structuring a site, however I aim through this site to share with you my interests, show you how to create and modify sites using just a mobile phone* and also use the site get to play around/test with various tags and plugin code that I find and learn about along the way.


Along with the a few visits to the Family PC, I've also been able to add a few "web apps" which update the content of this site via actions and information stored on my mobile and other websites I use. For instance the information displyed in the Jaiku feature at the top left of this homepage can display my mobile calender information stored on my mobile to share my "presence" or through individual posts to Jaiku it can be used in a mini blog type fashion for friends to see.
