Cover Concept by Queen

After spending 2 years engaged in solo projects. Freddie with Moserrat Caballe, Brian with 'Bad News', and Roger with 'The Cross'. Queen came back to the studios to record their 13th studio album. The announcement for the release was made on the Queen Fan Club Convention one month before the release, and there was even an exclusive 'hot-line' where fans could call to listen Brian talking about the album, and listen to some of the new tracks. The album contains 2 Compact Disc extra tracks, a format which at that time wasn't very common at all. The band decided to credit all the tracks to Queen, instead of do it individually for each member. Queen also announces that they will not make a promotional world tour for the album, and that's where rumors started to run...

This is where Queen meets Prince. A song pretty funky, and different from 'those' tracks from 'Hot Space', this one still sounds like Queen.

The continuos track to 'Party', which can also be known as 'Party II'. Seems like Freddie and his gang didn't want to stop partying, and decided to keep going on 'The Khashoggi's Ship'.

The Miracle

The title track of the album. It has a nice message of peace, which makes it sound like a Michael Jackson song, but with a Queen style. The video features 4 Queen young lookalikes, with a cameo apperance by the 'grown-ups' members of Queen at the end. Ross McCall, (The Little Freddie) recalls still feeling being Freddie Mercury after shooting the video. After the audition, the 4 boys got a standing ovation, and Freddie asked: "Could they do a whole tour for us"?

The Invisible Man

At the end of the 80's a new musical style called 'techno', started to hit the dance floors, and soon it became very popular everywhere. The Invisible Man is a techno/pop track which showed that despite Queen was an old band, they still were on those days 'groove'. The video features the members of Queen playing in a bedroom.

I think that the video for this song is Queen's best, and the idea of having the band performing on a train couldn't fit better. The video was filmed on the Nene Valley, on a train called 'The Miracle Express'. The model who appears on the video is Roger's wife.
