MGA front sway bar-Addco aftermarket
I read about this type of bar on Barney Gaylord's mgguru site, I ordered it through NAPA, they only come with the urethane bushing's now.  I had redone the front suspension this winter with new A bars, they had the reinforced holes for factory type sway bar.  I wanted an easier install so decided not to do factory type.  The Addco bracket had to be ground off on the corner next to the triangular A arm reinforcement.  Too bad Addco doesn't make one to fit those reinforced holes.

I followed the simple instructions, drilled the A arm and front frame extension holes with 3/8" bit.  I pre tested and preassembled with car on jack stands, positioned holes and tightened everything with weight on the suspension. For the pictures hold cursor over image to read headings.
The Addco bar came with all the necessary hardware and basic instructions. Grinding wheel used to allow additional 1/8 to 1/4" next to reinforcing plate on A arm.

Thanks to all the web site and BBS help I get to support my car habit.  Enablers are some of the nicest people I know.
